Have u ever wondered about the things you could get if you just asked.i mean for example maybe a promotion or that extra scoop of ice-cream or that bike from ur father ;) the last 2 egs are my experiences. Like that i can give you so many more examples but by now i guess you must have got what i'm trying to say.Many of us don't ask just coz we think that we wud be foolish..there is an old chinese saying that goes like this "He who asks maybe a fool for 5 mins. He who does'nt is a fool for a lifetime."
It makes me think of that advertisement i read in the classifieds."To the beautiful woman in a pink dress at Bandstand (Bandra) on Friday, March 24th @ 4 pm. You bumped into me in ur hurry to climb the rocks with your friends. I would love to meet and chat. contact me through this column or email me @ watever (his email address)"
Destiny had given this man an opportunity - possibly to meet the woman of his dreams and he had squandered it. And now after regretting that he "did not ask", he had to resort to placing an ad in the newspaper.
The more you ask , the more you get...ppl who know me very well know that this is my motto. And now i'm sharing it with u guys....take it or leave it. coz i surely benefitted a lot by this simple action of asking.But mind u it takes practice to get good at it...i've noticed a lot of people these days lack gutts. Success is a number's game.
Every arrow that hits the bull's eye is the result of one hundred misses.nobody is born perfect. You gotta try and try till you reach perfection. Over the coming weeks, flex ur asking muscles by asking for a better table at your favourite restaurent, for a free second scoop at your local ice-cream shop or for a complimentory upgrade on your next airline flight. You maybe suprised at the abundance that will flow into your life when you just ask sincerely for the things you want. Remember, the person who asks for what he wants at least has a chance of getting what he wants. The person who does not ask has no chance or loses his chance forever.
You can even go ask that gurl/guy you've been having a crush on, for a date...and who knows they might just say the golden word your ears are yearning for - "YES".
This lil secret of mine will surely boost ur confidence too...so wake up to a brand new you. :)
